I am committed to delivering a premium service meeting the highest standards of excellence. As Rome was not bulit in a day dreads take time to develop. The journey of developing dreadlocks, or dreads is a personal one, involving time, patience, and dedication. If you have not got patience maybe Dreadz are not for you.
Adding extensions can be a great way to add extra length.
New Dreadz
$60 per hour
My dreadlock service is for anyone who has unlocked hair (in its normal state) and is wanting dreadlocks. I offer only use a crochet hook method for dreadlocks installation whatever your hair type. I don’t use any chemicals only backcombing and then crocheting your hair until it’s super tight.
Extensions
$30 per extension
Dreadlock extensions are permanently installed using the crochet method. This gives you longer natural dreadlocks right away instead of waiting months/years for your dreads to grow. I can install on new dreaded locks (first lock your hair and then dread in the extension) or add to your own dreads for an instant transformation at a later stage. Please note that doing a full head of new dreads and adding extensions takes hours and unless you only have a few dreadlocks, the appointments will be done on seprate days. If I am making your extensions it is better to have a full consultation to match colours and expectations.
Maintenance
$60 per hour
It involves having new growth and loose hairs pulled into the base of your locs and knotted. Dreadlock maintenance can take between 1 and 6 hours depending on the number of locs, how much loose hair you have and when was the last time you had your dreads done. To make sure you have healthy, tight dreads that keep looking great I would recommend dreadlocks maintenance every 3 months for a more groomed style. When starting out it maybe sooner than 3 months depending on your hair type.
